Find Inspiration! Interior Designer, Renan Rodriguez Has Some Advice.

The design process starts with
inspiration: Frequently people ask me “Where can I find inspiration to decorate
my bedroom?” or “I need some ideas for my living room.” My answer is “Look
around you. What do you see?”

In South Florida we are blessed
with beautiful sunrises, beaches as well as tropical plant life and flowers.
You may be attracted to a particular piece of modern art in a gallery or you
may have a treasured artifact of their own which can inspire an entire room.

Another important step in the design or remodeling process
is to decide on a realistic budget. Whether you are planning to stay in your
home for a while or if you are planning to sell your property, presentation is
everything and the design project should be well planned and executed.

For those who are seeking some help finding this
inspiration, of course the best place to start is the Home Design and
Remodeling Show.
There, you could spend hours taking in all the trends of
contemporary design such as LED lighting and automated homes, as well as the
classic essentials such as flooring, windows, wall covering and art. You can
also meet a variety of companies from all over the world whose passion is
helping to create a perfect living space.

Even after you find your inspiration and a few elements to
get started, most of us need a little “push” to really create a fabulous space.
It is important to find a designer with experience who is up on the new trends
and who you can bond with and be honest who can help you take all the little
pieces you love and are inspired by and make it one cohesive space.
